Acquiring Tether tokens is sending fiat currencies and receiving Tether tokens. You can complete wire deposits (USD, CHN or MXN) and receive the corresponding amount of Tether tokens (USDt, CNHt or MXNt) to an address of your choice. The minimum acquisition amount is 100,000 USD or equivalent.
You can check all network protocols on which we issued Tether tokens at https://tether.to/en/supported-protocols/. Please bear in mind that acquiring Tether tokens on Kusama, Bitcoin Cash SLP, Omni Layer, EOS and Algorand is not possible.

The verification process is a standardised compliance measure designed to adhere to laws and regulations related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF).

How to acquire Tether tokens.
1. First, sign in to your Tether.to account, then click on Acquire.
2. Select the network protocol, fill in the wallet address where you wish to receive the Tether tokens and the total fiat amount to be wired to Tether. Please select the Tether tokens to receive and the bank account from which the wire transfer will be made and click Next.
3. Provide the Travel Rule information and click Next.
Ensure all transaction details are displayed correctly, fill in the Two-Factor Authenticator code and click Confirm Transaction.
4. Please know your Tether tokens acquisition request is reviewed. Once the acquisition request is reviewed, you will receive an email with the required details for the next step.
All incoming wire transfers must be from a bank account previously verified in your Tether.to account.
In cases where funds arrive from an unverified bank account, they will be returned at the customer’s expense. Incorrect or missing information could delay processing or result in the cancellation of your request and the automatic return of your wire by the bank at the customer’s expense.
